"Garfield & Friends" is a great animated series (Although, I personally prefer The Garfield Show), there are many amazing seasons, like the second season and the fourth season, although the show ended up going downhill during the last two seasons.
The sixth season of Garfield & Friends introduces more episodes of Garfield going on dates, for some reason.
In most of them, he goes on a date with Penelope Pussycat, although Penelope isn't really a good character, and all of the episodes where she is one of the main characters really suck.
Although, this downfall is primarily for the Garfield segments, and not the U.S. Acres/Orson's Farm segments. Infact, U.S. Acres/Orson's Farm have the best segments during the seventh season.
The first season of the show is a great season, although it is very simple it is still a great season.
The second season of the show is another one of the best seasons, and this is where the show really picked up momentum with so many classics including "Lemon Aid", "Mystic Manor", and tons more.
The third season is an excellent season, with tons of classics aswell such as "Skyway Robbery", "Dessert in the Desert".
The fourth season is one of the best seasons of the entire show, with so many classics such as "Big Bad Buddy Bird", "Jukebox Jon", and many more amazing episodes. It is also my favourite season.
The fifth season was a great season. Personally, I think it is missing something making it maybe on par with the first season, but overall it is still a great season.
The sixth season was the worst season of the show, there are 48 segments per season, and most of them either sucked or were just plain boring. Although, the U.S. Acres/Orson's Farm segments pick up momentum again during the last few
Episodes.
The seventh season was a huge improvement from the sixth season, with the U.S. Acres/Orson's Farm segments being the best they have ever been. While the Garfield segments are not as good as they were in the fourth season, they were still a huge improvement, and none of the episodes really came out as boring unlike the sixth season.
Although, Mark Evanier did admit that they were running ideas by the time that the sixth season of the show was in production.
