I'd like to start this off by noting that TeeJay87 has been on the Garfield Wiki since 2011, and has been actively editing here since 2014. While he has made a large number of significant contributions to the wiki in that time, his combative and hostile nature when dealing with other users has been a serious problem for almost his entire tenure here. He has already been demoted from the position twice for these issues, most recently less than a month ago. The reasoning that myself and others provided at that time still applies, and over the years many others have also explained the problems with TeeJay87's behavior in detail and shown how harmful it is to the wiki. As a result, I do not believe further elaboration on that point is necessary.

On the issue of TeeJay87's most recent behavior, the clearest example can be seen in this thread. Here he responds to a simple editing dispute with vicious personal attacks, bizarrely accusing ZoKhMiKa of being a teenager and having a mental disorder, In addition, TeeJay87's private conduct on Discord in response to this incident (which the other three administrators are well aware of) was even worse, and in my view should be the last straw.

Therefore, I vote that TeeJay87 should not be eligible for consideration as an administrator or bureaucrat in the future.

Having seen this thread, it seems that evidence I gathered from another admin on Discord seems not falsified:

It should be obvious that the author of this post has been plotting against me out of malice since last month at least. The evidence is in conjunction.

Ella Strudel is also notorious of breaking her promises - please see the example below from today:

Is this how a Wiki admin is supposed to act? I believe no.

II also have to add, that the same Ella Strudel did demand sample of my voice file for apologies. Other admins are aware of that.

I'm presenting evidence that this is not a libel:

When I gave Ella Strudel the voice file she did extort from me, I thought this would settle her hostilites against me.

Now I feel she will use my voice file for nefarious reasons, therefore if I am supposed to be marked as not be eligible for consideration as an administrator or bureaucrat in the future, so should be Ella Strudel for her abuses and nefarious approach to me.

I won't make this too long, however as many users here have stated several reasons as to why TeeJay87 should not be re-promoted, however the most recent situation is the ZoKhMiKa one where he began accusing said user of being a teenager and having a disorder, aswell as aggressively replying to said user stating he was a vandal.

Therefore, my vote is to refrain TeeJay87 from promotion as a bureaucrat and believe he should not be eligible for consideration as an administrator in the future.

I agree with Flamey and EllaStrudel on this. There is absolutely no evidence that any amount of editing by TeeJay87 will be enough to warrant his general behaviour and his penchant for getting users from every site possible to kick him off of. Its stuff we've seen time and time again and reiterating explanation after explanation on WHY it's wrong is just yodelling inside an echo chamber.

Therefore, I vote that TeeJay87 should from this point onwards, no longer be eligible as a candidate for administrator, nor a bureaucrat.

I shall write this at the risk of getting accused of writing this with a gun behind my back. I am also aware that my vote isn't really needed when there's already a 3/4 vote. Despite all that, I will offer my two cents here.

I'm not going to focus on TeeJay87 of the past, as that has been done to death, as others here have pointed out. Rather, I'll focus more on TeeJay87 of the (potential) future, as much as it may pain me to do so.

I really do want to think that TeeJay87 can improve his conduct, especially as he says he wants to do so...and yet, as one former user on here used to say to another former user on here, actions speak louder than words. That he has already been demoted twice is telling, but right now, I'm not seeing how he's aiming for improvement, especially with how much he's lately been at arms with someone else on here. Just yesterday, he expressed concern that said someone else will actually work to get the rest of the administrators demoted, since that's already recently happened to him and two others (never mind that all of those were done with good reason).

Furthermore, the conflict over this someone else highlights how the problem is with his conduct on Discord, despite improving that on Fandom following his first demotion...showing that there are loose ends not yet resolved. It may be pointed out that he thinks the solution is to treat others the way they want to be treated...rather than the way he wants to be treated. How am I to tell that he'll stop sniping at people from the less public place of Discord, especially when it's about fellow administrators?

I appreciate his history of edits on the Garfield Wiki, and that he appears reasonable in many areas...yet it has become quite apparent that this area in question is an Achilles heel for him. Therefore, my vote is for what I'd call a "tentative yes". Because I'd like for him to be able to improve himself...just that I also acknowledge that's on him to do.

Now that all current administrators have voted, this thread will be locked. The consensus reached is that TeeJay87 will not be eligible for promotion past user status in the future. This includes the administrator and bureaucrat positions, as well as lesser roles.
