When I watched the trailer, I broke down in tears. Not because it was good, but because of how unbelievably terrible Chris Pratt portrayed Garfield. I started crying, it was just so bad. The movie looks so good, but his voice is so bad. I had my doubts from the beginning. But then I thought about how people first responded to Chris playing Mario, and my hopes went up. Only for them to come crashing down. I am disappointed in the studios choice of Chris Pratt for Garfield.

@Garfieldkarter51707 i grew up with Garfield and friends. So when I think “Garfield’s voice” I think of it as a deep, bored drawl. So hearing Chris Pratt doing a Chris Pratt impression was very shocking and frustrating.

Muddle does make a valid point tho. We all recognize Garfield's voice to match his personality: deep and apathetic. So having some random celebrity voice him might make a few OG fans mad.
